The lake is shallow and nutrient-rich with well vegetated edges which is perfect for breeding water birds. From the bird hide you are likely to see a wide range of birds including warblers, coots, swallows, swifts and large flocks of Canada geese.
The bird hide has benches making your visit comfortable and is built to accommodate wheelchairs.
